ConnectwithJapan worked with British Para-Swimming in the 3 years leading up to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games and for the duration of the Games. ConnectwithJapan led on all interactions and negotiations with the local authorities in Mie Prefecture and managed all logistics for each of the 4 training camps in Japan, as well as managed all communications and engagement with the various organisations of the ground.
ConnectwithJapan delivered Japanese culture workshops to multiple Paralympic and Olympic teams to help prepare them for Tokyo2020. ConnectwithJapan worked across several British Paralympic and Olympic teams through delivering a series of interactive and engaging workshops on Japanese culture and etiquette ahead of the Games to enable the athletes and staff to be best prepared for the cultural challenges they were to face in Japan. ConnectwithJapan delivered these workshops for British Para-Swimming, GB Boxing, British Triathlon, Archery GB, British Wheelchair Basketball
CWJ DELIVERS INTERACTIVE CULTURE AND BUSINESS CULTURE WORKSHOPS TO BROTHER UK Brother UK contracted ConnectwithJapan to deliver a series of interactive and engaging workshops to provide the senior leadership of 30 individuals with the essential understanding and skills to enable them to communicate and interact effectively with Japanese colleagues across the business and with colleagues at their HQ in Nagoya
ConnectwithJapan supports senior officials from GMCA & MIDAS with their preparations and plans for working with key organisations in Japan. ConnectwithJapan supported the team with preparing and hosting a delegation from Osaka made up of senior officials from Osaka Metropolitan University, Institutute for Global Environmental Strategies and Osaka City Government. The aim of the visit was to explore the various ways Manchester and Osaka can collaborate between government, universities and companies to combat climate change and to achieve carbon neutrality for both cities.
